Its almost that time, fic final drafts and art rough drafts are due June 1st, 2012 give or take a few hours (or even a day or two, just get it in so I don't panic and send you frantic PMs please :D)

Please follow these instructions to submit your final fic and art drafts. This way I can know where people are and where to put them in the posting schedule (so authors and artists that are done will go towards the beginning, while ones that need some more time will be scheduled towards the end).

IF YOU AREN'T FINISHED DON'T WORRY! That is why I asked for you to tell us if its complete or not, I will try to work those people that need more time later on in the schedule.

The posting period will be from June 11th to June 25th

As fics and art come in they will be put into a posting schedule, the posting schedule will be up by June 4th at the latest - sooner if everyone gets their stuff in (those who need more time either art of fic wise will be put towards the end of the schedule). Posting instructions will be posted after the posting schedule goes up.

The Consolidated Claims Post is still open and we would love to see the remaining six stories claimed! Pleas check it out and pick up one of the stories to do art for (artists are allowed to claim a second, even third story for art!).

INFORMATION ABOUT CLAIMS
- Artists who have already claimed a story are allowed to claim a second! (or even third)
- Each story can only be claimed once for art. Once its claimed it will be marked off the list.
- Once an artist claims a story and is confirmed as getting it by a mod the author can contact them and start working together.
- Each new claim has to be in a separate comment, whether you are claiming again, if all your choices are chosen, or if you are claiming for yourself and someone else.

The claims post will be up 24 hours in advanced so artists can preview it and arrange for a proxy to claim for them if needed.

This is a reminder for artists to please fill out the poll for what time artist's claims will take place. That poll closes tomorrow.

Also, at this time we have only 21 artists signed up, and 30 rough drafts submitted. Keeping in mind that not every artist that signs up will end up claiming a story we are a little worried and would love for more artists to sign up!

Also, for those not feeling comfortable enough to turn in a rough draft there is another option for staying in the challenge:

UNOFFICIAL TRACK
You can join the Unofficial Track. What this means is you follow the instructions on how to turn in your rough draft, only you format the subject line of your email like this – Unofficial Rough Draft – Username. We will then add you to a separate spreadsheet and not include your story in the claims post (that way if you aren't able to complete it you won't be letting an artist down).

You will then have until the final fics due date (June 1st!) to finish your story. If you are able to finish it by then we will try to arrange an artist for you (this can’t be guaranteed but we will do our best!) and you will be put in the posting schedule with everyone else. If you finish sooner we will arrange an artist for you sooner as well.

You have until April 23rd to email us your rough draft, as long as its the 23rd somewhere you are good. If you think you'll get it in a day or two late send us an email letting us know to expect your fic.

Ideally your rough draft needs to be more than 15,000 words and completed, however since these are rough drafts at least turn in 10,000 words with more than 80% of the fic done. I've accepted less in the past rounds and will only do so again if the author is ABSOLUTELY sure they will finish the story and they can given the artist enough to work with.

PLEASE KEEP THE CODING IN YOUR EMAIL!, we copy and paste this part into the claims and its really a pain to have to redo all the coding. The only things that will be taken out is the LJ username, percent complete, and current word count.

Pay special attention to the summary because that is what artists will be using to claim a story so make sure to spell-check it and be aware of the length (a sentence or two won't be enough for an artist to make a claim but claims are first come first served and an artist might overlook a huge block of text)

Then add your fic as an attachment, we would prefer it if you had it as an .doc but we can take .docx and .rtf
